A passion rekindled: our story
Years ago, our family began a wonderful journey with a few Orange Netherland Dwarfs, igniting a passion that would last a lifetime. Though life took us in different directions for a time, the call of these enchanting creatures was too strong to resist. About five years ago, the 'bunny fever' returned, stronger than ever. Today, you'll often find me at rabbit shows in the Pacific Northwest – come say hello and let's chat about our beloved bunnies!

At Shieldmaiden Rabbitry, we pride ourselves on being a small, dedicated hobby breeder of Netherland Dwarf rabbits right here in Western Washington. We specialize in the beautiful Fox, Otter, and Agouti varieties, carefully breeding for excellent type and sweet, calm temperaments. Every bunny we raise is a testament to our commitment to quality, and we are incredibly proud of each one.
